Novak Djokovic is the first Serb to win a grand slam title. He is the new sensation for this year’s tennis tournament and his match was pulling a record 6, 05,735 visitors to ground. Tsonga was unseeded, ranked No. 38 in the world at the start of the match but 18 by the finish. He beat the Spanish power-player Rafael Nadal in four sets – 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 7-6.

Managing Time – Part 3 |
Another method by which one can remember things is by repetition. As a child one might have noticed the teacher asking the children to repeat the mathematical tables a number of times and then checking back whether they remember it or not. You may forget the way to your friend’s house if you go there once only. Once, but if happen to go there everyday for a week you automatically tend to remember it.
Creating necessary atmosphere and ambience during study time also enhances the memory. If you are sitting in a study room with variety of noises coming from outside your task of remembrance is made doubly difficult. Sit in a peaceful, cool and comfortable room. Don’t allow and extraneous factors to distract you and then a single reading might be enough to remember the subject for a long time. Blind reading without first trying to understand the underlying concept makes it very difficult to remember. If you have understood the concept thoroughly then you need not have to put so much of effort to remember the facts.
Human brain is the most complex organ and many researches have yielded very little on the thought and memory processes that take place in it. It is the single most disguising factor between man and an animal. However, most researches have proved that the capacity to remember or the kilo bytes of the human computer are limited. It all depends on how you put it to good use. Don’t go by the fake claims of quacks and glamorous advertising of medicines that enhance memory. Rather than doing good they cause harm with their endless side effects. As the capacity is limited, one should be a good manager of his own memory resource. Don’t try to remember everything and anything under the sky. It is impossible. Try to figure out the important from the unimportant and the ones to remember from those that are not intended. Surely success would be at your door step.

Know Your Power – 2 |
The other reason why you would remember something is that you want to remember it and remember it at any cost. Suppose you think the Newton’s Laws of Motion are very important for tomorrow’s exam and you would like to remember it. So you start reading with the purpose of remembering it. Hence you never forget it. The reason why you remember an algebraic formula and forget what Kene said to Abel just after their first meeting in Jefrey Arche’s “Kene and Abel” is that while you have read the former with a purpose the later was read casually. So while you are preparing for your exam don’t take anything casually, read with a purpose and you are bound to remember it.
Connecting and interlinking issues also helps in remembering things. Suppose the telephone number of your friend is 222365. It may be difficult to remember it just like that but it would become so simple and easy to remember if you link it up as a double Nelson over number of days in a year. Similar was a case with an equation called Bending moment equation in Engineering. The equation is E/R = M/I = F/Y. students had lot of problems in remembering it. Hence all easy way was developed to remember it as “Elizabeth Rani May I Frighten You”. So if you start linking up and connecting things than remembrance would be that much simple.

Know Your Power - 1 |
Can you recollect without making any effort as to what all you remember. Well, you may remember your name, your parents, siblings and your close relatives name, names of the staff in your office, your own address and telephone number and might be the address and telephone number of your fiancée, etc, but what makes you remember these things as against say, the date when you purchased your new shoes.
An analysis of these factors which make you remember certain things against others would go a long way in enhancing your memory or the capability to store which is one of the vital factors of success. The foremost reason why you would like to remember an event or a particular person is that you love them. Well we may always like to cherish and remember the moments which we have spent on a date but you had a quarrel with your neighbor. So the basic attribute that has to be developed to enhance the memory is to develop love towards the subject that you are studying. Love your subject as you love your girl friend, the chances are that in 99 out of 100 cases you remember it.

Manage Your Time |
- Concentrate on one thing at a time. Study difficult or boring subjects first while you still fresh and get this “chore” out of the way to make the rest of the day easier for yourself. Be active in what you are doing at the time.
- Be aware of your best time of the day. When do you study best – Daylight? Night time? Schedule study time during your best study hours.
- Use a regular study area. Train your body so that you can focus attention more quickly. Use this area only to study, such as the library or a study lounge, which has good lighting, low noise, and no distractions. Find a place where you can study everyday that has tables and chairs, is quite, and has low traffic.
- Study where you will be alert. Do not study where you sleep and avoid chairs and sofas. You need energy, not relaxation.
- Pay attention to your attention. Keep a note pad next to you while studying to jot down random thought that interfere with your studying. Get them out of your mind and onto a paper so that you can refocus on studying. If the task is really pressuring do it, and then return to your studying.
- Get off the phone. Do not use the phone as an excuse to not study. Tell people when they call that you are studying and they should understand. If it is that important they will call back.
- Plan your day each morning or the night before and set priorities for yourself.
- Do just one more thing. Before going to bed, try to do just one more thing to make the day more complete, and eliminate one task for the next day.
- Be sure and set deadlines for yourself whenever possible and reward yourself whenever possible and reward yourself when you get things done as you had planned, especially the important ones.
- Be realistic in your expectations of yourself.

Schedule Making and Managing Time Waster |
Students today we discuss about how to make schedules;
- Be specific. Rather than writing “do Calculus problems,” indicate which problems.
- Be reasonable. Schedule what you think will do.
4. Be flexible; use a pencil when making your schedule.
5. Plan to review your lecture notes every day.
6. Do not forget to have schedule breaks.
7. Make use of time before and after class.
8. Schedule difficult tasks for your most alert periods.
Students you are astonished by knowing the time wasters do you want to know; then here it is
If you were to monitor your time for a day you would be sure to find at least one, or may be even more, time waster. A time waster is something that occurs in the day that is not necessary to your day, and if it did not occur, you could have quite possibly gotten something else done in its place. A time waster prevents you from accomplishing some goal. You need to monitor how much time you spend sleeping, eating, studying, watching television, talking on the phone, running errands, exercising, etc. the two main time wasters in the previous list are watching television and talking on the phone. Time wasters need to be recognized and then one needs to figure out why it occurs and if the situation can be remedied.

Managing Time – Part 2 |
Students… time management begin with the use of a calendar or planner with daily lists and taking the time to write down everything that you must do, so that it gets done. If you sleep seven hours a night, you have 119 hours a week to do everything that you need to do. That, of course, includes everything from going to class, eating, athletic events, social activities, personal hygiene, time-in-transit, studying, telephone and television time, and everything in between. You must use all 119 hours a week to schedule everything that you must do. Then you must stick to your schedule, which should give you an idea of where your real priorities are.
To begin, make a semester calendar. Use a wall or desk calendar for major exams and due dates; basically the events that you must do and that do not change. Use your class syllabi to help you complete the calendar. You should keep a pocket calendar or use the month calendars in a planner as a remainder of your schedule. In addition, a weekly schedule be used which should be made once a semester of all classes, exercise, routine work and extracurricular activities, housekeeping duties, sleeping and eating, and blank space to fit in necessary activities as they come up, which is usually done weekly, preferably on a Sunday night before the week begins. These blank spaces should be utilized for studying and the completion of assignments. Study time should per hour of class. Moreover, a daily list should be made each day, either when you wake up in the morning or each night before you go to bed. The list should be kept short, about five or six items, both academic and personal. The list should also be prioritized and the items should be small specific goals such as read one chapter of Physics or do all objective MCQ’s related to previously done chapter. You must learn to use your schedules every day and learn to say “no” so that you can keep to your schedules.
Yes students we are discuss the topic in next day…cheers J

Labia Reduction and Laser Vaginal rejuvenation Surgery |
Plastic surgery has become mainstream – almost 11 million procedures were preformed in US in 2006, up 7% from previous year. Labiaplasty (Labia reduction surgery) is especially suitable for those women who dislike the large protuberant appearance of their labia minora. This may cause embarrassment with a sexual partner. Some women are born with large labia, others may develop this condition with childbirth or age. Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure that will reduce and/or reshape the labia minora – the skin that covers the clitoris and vaginal opening.
The internationally renowned surgeons in Atlanta – Dr. Miklos/Moore have performed labia reduction surgery and laser vaginal rejuvenation surgery in 46 states and 23 countries. The cosmetic vaginal surgery promoted the fact that there’s something wrong with women with large labia and women should be out there having surgery to correct it.

MATHEMATICS OF DNA |
To say that the various subjects such as mathematics, physics, chemistry and life sciences have a lot of things overlapping each other is an understatement.
Why is DNA packed into twisted, knotted shapes? What does this knotted structure have to do with how DNA functions? How does DNA “undo” these complicated knots to transform itself into different structures? The mathematical theory of knots, links, and tangles is helping to find answers.
In order to perform such functions as replication and information transmission, DNA must transform itself from one form of knotting or coiling into another. The agent for these transformations are enzymes. Enzymes maintain the proper geometry and topology during the transformation and also “cut” the DNA strands and recombine the loose ends. Mathematics can be used to model these complicated processes.
The description and quantization of the three dimensional structure of DNA and the changes in DNA structure due to the action of these enzymes have required the serious use of geometry and topology. This use of mathematics as an analytical tool is especially important because there is no experimental way to observe the dynamics of enzymatic action directly.
A key mathematical challenge is to deduce the enzyme mechanisms from observing the changes the enzymes bring about in the geometry and topology of the DNA. This requires the construction of mathematical models for enzyme action and the use of these models to analyze the results of topological enzymology experiments. The entangled form of the product DNA knots and links contains information about the enzymes that made them.
Synergy can be obtained if there is an increase in the dosage of number based thinking when teaching biology and to include a discussion of physical realities to make the concepts simpler, while teaching mathematics. Vanishing barriers are pushing us towards a unified approach.

Multiplication made easy! |
Multiplication is become easy! Most of my students are not agreeing. I like to give you some wonderful tips and you see it will give an amazing result. Try for it….
Suppose I ask you to multiply 99992 with 99923. I know you hesitate and if some try then show me their ugly face that it is very time consuming. I say no. Let us discuss the trick behind it.
1, 00,000 is greater than both 99992 and 99923.
Subtract 99992 and 99923 from 1, 00,000. What you get? It is 8 and 77 respectively.
Now 8 is the smallest one between 8 and 77. Right.
Multiply 8 and 77. You will get 616 is a three digit number. Convert it into five digit number 00696 (as the multiplicand and multiplier are of equivalent digits – this is important REMEMBER).
Subtract 8 from 99923 (BOTH ARE SMALL IN THEIR RESPECTIVE NUMBERS). You get 99915.
Hey…here is my result 99915 00616.
Hello students are you now using calculator. Ok I think you will get the same result.
The above principle is applicable to any number of digits.
Limitations:
1.The number should be very close to its higher 10’s digits. For example 99992 and 99923 are close to 1, 00,000.
2.The multiplication of differences should be converted to equal number of digits as the multiplicand and multiplier.
3.The multiplication results of differences should not more than the multiplicand and multiplier.
Now students use this small trick in your calculations in mathematics.
And cheers.
